The Qualified Forest Program, (QFP)

This is a tax incentive program that can translate into savings on your property taxes.

• Landowners must have at least  20 and no more than 640 forested acres per taxable unit.
• The program can eliminate up to 18 mills of school tax and has some taxable value capping ability.
